Amber was first introduced to Pilates through her dance training. There she found fulfilment in conditioning and learning biomechanics through the Pilates method. Her belief in the benefits was strengthened after seeing the positive effects the training had on her mother after a disc herniation and later during recovery from breast cancer. This prompted Amber to train to become an instructor at the STOTT PILATES® head quarter studio in Toronto, Canada, enabling her to share the positive effects with others.
She is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor (Level 3 REPs) in all levels of mat and equipment, Injuries and Special Populations, as well as further speciality training including, Osteoporosis and Flexion-free. Continuing her love for movement and dance, she is also an active Zumba Instructor (for Kids, Aqua, and Gold).
Amber is passionate about teaching mind and body awareness wherein through precision, she encourages her client’s to continually progress. Her client’s well-being, and understanding of their body through movement and basic anatomy is most important to her.
