Ana (BSc physiotherapy, M.Ost) is a Spanish physiotherapist who started her career in Barcelona where she treated and helped to rehabilitate patients from both sports and postural injuries, women’s health related conditions and neurological damage. She is registered as a physiotherapist in the UK with HCPC.
Her interest in what may have caused her patients to become injured in the first place, and her desire to use her hands to help them led her to train in osteopathy. She completed her osteopathic training under the European School of Osteopathy (Maidstone, UK) at the Escola D’Osteopatia de Barcelona (Spain) and practiced there as an osteopath for several years before moving to London in 2012. She is currently writing a research project in support of her application to the UK regulatory body (GOsC).
Osteopathy’s holistic approach made her understand better the human body and she now teaches physiotherapists, sharing her knowledge and skills.
She loves researching new methods, theories and techniques to explore different approaches and provide her patients with the best customised treatment. Ana enjoys dancing, writing and traveling which she has been doing for the last 5 years and helped her to grow.
Ana is currently undertaking further specialist training in women’s health with the prestigious Renzo Molinari Institute addressing all aspects of gynaecological and obstetric conditions.
