Cat Lane began practicing pilates whilst completing a BA hons Degree in Theatre Dance at the London Studio Centre. Finding pilates was the key component to sustain her body during her dance training, she decided to undertake a mat and full studio equipment qualification at the Pilates Centre, SA, 2007, becoming a teacher in Johannesburg.
Cat has continued to work as a freelance performer for the last 12 years working both internationally and in the West End whilst continuing her pilates career. Her passion for sharing her knowledge by helping others to gain pain free movement and strengthen and condition clients is continually growing.
Currently based in South London, Cat has been teaching for 10 years in pilates mat-work, reformer, full equipment, barre and dance both privately and at several studios across London. Having gained experience in rehab pilates, Cat is eager to work with clients including dancers and athletes presenting challenges, helping them regain freedom of movement. Expect a dynamic and challenging class that keeps focus on correct form and detail in movements to get the most out of the body. Cat loves to keep classes creative and fun and to get hands on and interactive with her students pushing them to achieve their personal goals.
