About Jackie
Alongside a master’s degree in Osteopathy, Jackie’s various academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a postgraduate Master’s degree in Molecular Biology. Alongside her osteopathic medical education, this wide base of knowledge gives her an in depth and unique perspective of the function, health and workings of our bodies.
Jackie has been extremely interested in movement from a young age. She has a background in dance, gymnastics and fitness, which provides her great insight in treating professional and amateur athletes, as well as non-athletic patients too. She has practiced yoga for more than a decade, and currently enjoys training in calisthetics and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
She has a particular interest in Female Health, and has recently completed a postgrad diploma at the prestigious Molinari Health Institute. She specialises in the care and treatment of women through all stages of life, with her treatment involving a combination of manual therapy, lifestyle medicine, patient education, self-empowerment and movement rehabilitation. In line with this focus on female health, Jackie has trained to offer the Perrin Technique, a treatment used to improve lymphatic drainage and promote the body immune function also indicated for fibromyalgia, a condition which disproportionately affects females
