Laura Wheatley (M Ost) studied for her Masters qualification at the University College of Osteopathy, qualifying in 2012 with distinction. On graduation she was awarded several prizes including the college’s Gold Medal for outstanding contribution to the life of the school and the R.K. Hardy Prize for her research into emotional processing and lower back pain (which has since been published).
Laura has a special interest in treating babies, children and women during and after pregnancy, having worked for two years at the prestigious Osteopathic Centre for Children where she gained her postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy.
Laura has also pursued postgraduate training in the field of cranial osteopathy and enjoys combining this gentle approach with structural osteopathy for patients of all ages. Her background in contemporary dance and extensive experience in movement also play an important role in her osteopathic approach.
