Following successful completion of her first degree in Teaching in 2009, Magdalena’s thirst for growth led her to take on a Master’s degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute in the UK.
For the last seven years Magdalena has been providing brief psychotherapeutic counselling in NHS settings, long term, open- ended contracts to private clients and in parallel has also worked in a clinical role in the acute mental health care sector. She works with people from a variety of socio-political, cultural, economic and linguistic backgrounds who present a wide range of issues.
Magdalena prides herself on building trusting relationships with her clients and a place of safety from where deeper issues can be processed and resolved.
Magdalena has a calm, sensitive approach and a lovely curious manner. Her particular interest is in working with individual adults who are facing
relationship issues; anxiety and depression; bereavement and loss; processing traumatic experiences; and existential dilemmas such as finding a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction in life.
