BSc (Clin.Sci) MHSc (Osteo)
Melissa has completed a 5-year double degree of Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Masters in Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in Melbourne in 2013.
Along with helping others she has always had a profound interest in the function of the human body, which led her to pursue her osteopathic career. Her enthusiasm for Osteopathy stems from its holistic approach to the individual, addressing all areas of the body to create balance and alleviate discomfort.
Melissa has had additional training in dry needling techniques and is fully certified in APPI mat and equipment Pilates as well as a qualified yoga instructor. While striving to tailor her treatment and management to each individual, she aims to ensure clear and concise education to actively involve her patients in their road to recovery.
Melissa treats all areas of the body, but has particular interest in neck pain and headaches as well as treating children and babies.
Melissa recently moved to London to pursue her passion for paediatric osteopathy and the care of pre-and post-natal women; and is currently completing post-graduate studies in Paediatric
Osteopathy at University College of Osteopathy London.
In her spare time, you will find Melissa maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. If she is not out for run or behind the boat on water skies she will most definitely be in a yoga/pilates studio.
