Pietro B (“PB”) is a qualified Osteopath, Physiotherapist and diagnostic Ultrasonographer, who has acquired extensive experience working in Italy, Spain, Australia and the UK.
Pietro qualified in Physiotherapy at the University of Florence (Italy) and completed a Master’s degree in Osteopathy at the University College of Osteopathy in London. He completed his ultrasound training with the Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group (SMUG) whose courses are endorsed by the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR).
Among many sport interests, Pietro has been playing and coaching football for many years. His passion for movement and physical activity has brought him to specialise in sport-specific rehabilitation and prevention, obtaining a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine in order to provide the highest possible standards of care for his patients.
In addition, Pietro has considerable experience working with CrossFit® and weightlifting athletes both from a rehabilitation, prehabilitation and performance enhancement perspectives.
His interests in biomechanical and functional analysis and rehabilitation mix perfectly to help patients with a wide range of dysfunctions, from day-to-day to sport-specific injuries. Pietro believes in taking into account every aspect of his patients’ lives in order to tailor a specific, multidisciplinary management plan to treat injury and enhance performance.
His ability to combine osteopathic techniques and clinical reasoning with rehab skills and dry needling allows Pietro to adapt his management to the patients’ needs, offering a fully integrated approach to their recovery.
He brings to the clinic his experience and enthusiasm to find the best strategies for each individual in order to support them in their journey to recovery.
